The proxy mine did Spada's work for us and took out Mire. It was a close call, but great job bumpkin on getting it done!

If only I could have forseen, I would have asked Spada to hit Jake or Sky instead.

But no matter! There's always the possibility that Mire would not have hit the only member of our team with a mine on him, and getting the last hitter out of the game was top priority because..

We now dominate the day and night cycle.

I issued the following ultimatum to Sky:
I discussed it with my team, and personally, they think that you are a more palatable target then Jake.

First, we don't know the extent of your medical tech, so for all we know you could be safe from night hits. Jake's safety was tied to his bodyguard, who was taken out.

Second, since you are not providing nuke shelters for very obvious reasons to the EU, then keeping you around only serves to protect the last Russian standing.
I am inclined to agree. The only real viable interest in keeping you around another cycle is the benefit of having you vote with us, instead of myself or my team members.

If we don't see your vote for Jake by 10PM est this evening, my group has been instructed to go ahead and vote for you. If, however, you are voting for Jake, then we will vote with you.
I could have extended this offer to Jake, who has more voting power than you and is possibly easier to kill, but then I actually do want to see if the bought time will let you do anything epic before this game winds down.

Mainly, I think Sky is more willing to play ball with us on this, because his need for self preservation in-game trumps his reasoning to do what is best for his team. Plus, he's more active and interactive than Jake has been in this game.

Russia and USA uniting is the only hope they have of taking down anyone in the EU for this cycle. Here's hoping my offer destroys this possibility. I'm also hoping that my push for him to vote /now/ triggers Jake to vote for Sky. If he's smart enough to vote for us, and we get hacked, then we've got big problems.

Jake - 6
count. - 2

can easily become:

Jake - 3
count. - 5

Then nukes fall, taking out Spada and no night hits remain. D:
This is the worst case scenario. I'm hoping that Sky takes the bait and Jake can be baited as well.

As long as none of us are up on the chopping block, we're a solid victory today.

Or Plans Completely Different!

Boo to Umino hacking my beautiful plan by killing Shadowblade. Knowing that USSR would go for deading both vets at once, I stuck the non-lynched one in the shelter. ;_;

But oh well, play the cards that you are dealt~

So Spada is our only hitter, with 2 left.
Count. --Umino has informed me after prodding-- is my bodyguard, so he can't hit.
That only leaves Spada to protect with a proxy mine. Count. gogo~

Hittable targets are:

Skypants<3
Jake
Mire
CAB

- I still don't trust CAB, but offing him is a big maybe to take this round.

- Mire has shown the ability to hit after taking out both Lovers.

- Jake controls a x2 vote, but whether or not we take him out, our votes can only go through if
Link doesn't hack them.

- CAB is supposedly trying to take down Link and hasn't voted against us. Keeping him around could either screw the pooch on Spada and I, or really benefit us. 50/50 :<

- Skypants can vote and has a shelter he probably won't let us use. It'd be awesome if Mire took him out while our side is protected with mines, but he probably won't because Jake will want shelter from our nukes.

After weighing the options, I think we should hit Mire tonight and lynch Jake tomorrow.
Russia will likely lob another nuke at us, and we'll retaliate. It will either hit Sky or CAB.

That leaves two EU left.

* If Spada goes, we can't night hit, but dominate the lynch if Link doesn't hack (likely scenario)
* If I go, proxy mine on Spada and use his last hit on whomever is left (best scenario)
* Count. goes and Spada uses his last hit without protection (iffy scenario)

So those are my thoughts my mostly dead folks. ^_^;

Plans and stuff

Okay, now I'm mostly posting so the dead heads in-blog have something interesting to read.

We're voting for Gabe, if I don't get hacked it might work.

Sky is putting the bomb shelter on Shadowblade Edge since if they're lynching count, then they're probably nuking Shadow to try to get both vets out in one round.

Whether or not this works depends on TDW not voting, Link not hacking, Sky voting with EU, and all of us voting. We'd squeak by with -one- bitty vote.

After that, I think USSR is out of nukes?

Night phase:
If our vets are still around, target CAB and Eyolo. We have to kinda cross our fingers that USSR doesn't think to proxy mine ME and has TDW protect himself.

There's a breakdown in communication with the Russians, they might even send Eyolo in to take out Sky, since it will be presumed that Spada and I are proxy mined.

Stick a proxy mine on Sky.

TDW or Eyolo or both will probably go after Sky carrying the assumption that the EU is proxied up and thus not hittable.

(I know that TDW has been kept out of the loop in USSR and likes to act on his own and be secret, so I'm thinking Eyolo is the one doing the organizing over there and maybe Jake to a periphery extent.)

They/He goes after Sky to eliminate his nuke protection use for us and gets an unpleasant boom surprise. Actually, I'm thinking the ME might do that and am tempted to put both proxy mines on Sky and target Mires instead of Eyolo. That one is risky, but could actually take out all the Russians tonight. Why not win/lose spectacularly?

I thought about going after Jake, but after the attempt on Gabe and the weird results, would it even work? Maybe with no bodyguard. If Spada has hits left, I'd send him on Jake.

Possible scenarios:

1) TDW and Eyolo hit Sky, go boom. CAB is hit, Jake is hit, Mires is hit. We win. :v
2) TDW does not hit, Eyolo hit Sky and goes boom. Hit CAB, hit Mires. Jake super-dodges or Spada can't hit. ME is out and Russia has x3 vote tomorrow with Jake and TDW still standing.

There are more, but they get convuluted. and don't look pretty for us. Let's hope our vets are both alive for this to work.

One factor I forgot to consider is a CAB ninja-vote. He'll tie the lynch vote and kill the count. :/
I guess we can only hope he's not faking and actually is on the outs with USSR, so doesn't vote. Of course, if he's trying to get back in this is the way to do it. -.-

I've played this role as far as I can go with it. My death would actually be a best case scenario this evening. Without my vote to hack from Link, and successful hits to trim down the voting next day phase, we should still dominate lynches.

Sky-pants will be giddy as a schoolgirl and more willing to cooperate with EU since this "ding-dong the witch is dead moment" absolves the EU. I mean, that backstabbing thing was all me. You guys were ttly puppets, amirite? :v

Meanwhile, there's no bad blood with harlock. If the vet came through on the proxy mine (bitch better .v.) than he should be safe and an unpleseant surprise should meet any hitter that night who goes for him.

So I shall sip tea in the afterlife, sure I didn't make it to end game, but I didn't have to. I just needed EU to win. n.n

Dukat and Sky will gloat SO MUCH, I imagine, but I will die with a smile on my face. And a note that reads: hurr hurr hurr :v
