The Middle East factor

There's a chance this has already been talked over already, and I've missed it. But the Middle East could be a problem, and we might want to factor them into our plans as well. From what I'm aware of, ME's win condition is to win with one of the SUPERPOWERS. ie: Russia or America. NOT European Union. Maybe that's changed now, and they can win with us. But I think it would be better to assume that they're working with Russia until we know otherwise.

  1. I've assumed the ME are aligned with the USSR. Right now we need to knock the USSR down a peg or two.

  2. Why not appeal to the ME then? What's to be lost from trying to get them to flip on the Russians? If anything, the Russians are in worse shape than us, despite the fact that they have three nukes.

  3. I demand a raise. I have approached Eyolo, and he has agreed to play ball with the EU. I anticipate that Gabe might be willing to play ball as well. I did NOT reveal the ninja vote plan, as that would only tip our hand. After I get a hold of CAB to determine whether or not he's actually against us now or not, we can consider who we would want Fouod to hit tonight.

  4. Srsly RAISE NAO. Just talked with CAB. He counts as a mercenary now, so he's on his own. He's targeting Severus for himself, but he says that he's willing to play ball with us and vote where we'd like him to. That's three potential votes I've acquired for us. Checks can be mailed to address listed below. :v Severus is as good a target as any, given that it's all but obvious that he's working for the Russians now.

As an aside, stage might want to think of info dumping to one of us before the day ends, because the way things are looking she might be a good target for a nuke and the dead can't talk in this game. That bit me in the ass in Game 7. Just sayin'.
